Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about file privacy, processing modes, formats, and device support.

You can merge MP3, WAV, AAC, M4A, OGG, and FLAC audio files. You can even combine different formats together (e.g., merging a WAV voice recording with an MP3 soundtrack).
When audio tracks share identical audio parameters, Elixuvo employs FFmpeg stream copy to concatenate clips in milliseconds with zero acoustic degradation. If tracks differ in sample rates or codecs, they are automatically resampled to standard 44.1kHz stereo with studio-grade fidelity.
Yes! You can use the Move Up and Move Down controls next to each track to arrange them in the exact order you want them played.
You can merge as many tracks as your device's browser memory can handle. Since all processing runs locally on your computer, there are no upload wait times or artificial server file count restrictions.
No. 100% of the merging and transcoding runs inside your local browser sandbox via WebAssembly. Your audio files never leave your device.
