Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about file privacy, processing modes, formats, and device support.

No. All table creation, grid cell editing, alignment calculations, and code exports execute 100% client-side in your browser memory. Your proprietary spreadsheets, data sets, and documents never leave your local device.
The generator supports GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) tables, AsciiDoc tables ([cols=...]), clean semantic HTML tables (<table>, <thead>, <tbody>), and RFC 4180 compliant CSV formats.
Markdown tables use colons (:) in the delimiter row to indicate text alignment: ':---' aligns text to the left, ':---:' centers the text, and '---:' aligns text to the right. The generated output also automatically calculates padding spaces for beautiful monospace code alignment.
Yes. You can add new rows and columns with single-click buttons, remove any specific row or column without disturbing the remaining data, or load sample data to quickly test different layouts.
Yes. In Markdown and AsciiDoc, pipe characters (|) inside table cells are automatically escaped (\|) to prevent breaking the table structure. In HTML mode, angle brackets and ampersands are converted to entities, and CSV values containing commas or quotes are properly enclosed in double quotes.
Yes. The generated Markdown conforms to standard GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) and CommonMark specifications, making it directly pasteable into GitHub READMEs, pull requests, GitLab, Notion, Obsidian, and documentation generators.
