Live

How to use this tool

  1. Upload or drag and drop your PDF document into the dropzone (up to 50 MB, 1000 pages).

  2. Choose your target paper size: A4 (ISO standard), A3 (large poster / blueprints), US Letter (8.5 ร— 11 in), US Legal (8.5 ร— 14 in), or A5.

  3. Select your scaling mode: 'Proportional Fit' to preserve visual ratios with balanced margins, or 'Stretch to Fill Canvas'.

  4. Click Rescale PDF to process in memory and download your resized PDF immediately.

  5. Trim leftover margin with Crop PDF or turn a landscape page with Rotate PDF before you scale.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about file privacy, processing modes, formats, and device support.

No. PDF vector graphics, embedded typography, and line strokes are mathematically re-mapped to the new coordinate space. Text and vector shapes remain razor-sharp and resolution-independent at any print or display size.
The engine detects each page's aspect ratio independently. If an incoming page is landscape, the destination canvas automatically switches to landscape dimensions (e.g. 297 ร— 210 mm for A4), ensuring consistent orientation across mixed documents.
Proportional Fit scales the page content so it fits entirely within the target page while preserving the original aspect ratio and automatically balancing symmetric top/bottom and left/right margins. Fill scales width and height independently to fill the entire canvas without margins.
Yes. Converting US Letter (8.5 ร— 11 in) to ISO A4 (210 ร— 297 mm) is one of the primary use cases, ensuring documents designed in North America print cleanly on international paper without clipping headers or footers.
No. All page geometry recalculation and vector canvas rendering execute strictly in-memory (RAM) inside ephemeral execution containers. No documents or temporary files are ever saved to disk or databases.
