The equalizer features 5 dedicated parametric bands: Sub-Bass (60 Hz) for deep low-end rumble and kick drums; Bass (250 Hz) for musical warmth and bassline punch; Midrange (1 kHz) for vocal presence and instruments; Upper Mid (4 kHz) for acoustic clarity and articulation; and Treble (12 kHz) for brilliance, air, and high-end sparkle.
When boosting frequency bands by several decibels, the overall signal can exceed 0 dBFS (digital ceiling), leading to harsh digital clipping and distortion. The built-in soft limiter smoothly catches aggressive peaks while maintaining full dynamic punch and transparent clarity.
