API / HTTP Payload Tester

Test REST APIs, execute HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, HEAD), inspect response headers, payloads, and latency client-side in your browser.

How to use this tool

  1. Select your HTTP method (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, or PATCH) and enter your target API endpoint URL.

  2. Click the 'Headers' tab to add, edit, or toggle custom request headers (such as Content-Type or Authorization).

  3. For POST, PUT, or PATCH requests, click the 'Body' tab and enter your JSON or plain-text request payload.

  4. Click 'Send Request' to execute the HTTP call directly from your browser sandbox.

  5. Inspect the response status badge (e.g. 200 OK), round-trip latency in milliseconds, and payload byte size.

  6. Switch between Response Body (formatted pretty JSON) and Response Headers, then click 'Copy Response' or download as a .json file.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about file privacy, processing modes, formats, and device support.

No. All HTTP calls are initiated and dispatched 100% locally from your browser sandbox using the native browser fetch API. Your authorization tokens, API keys, and sensitive payloads are never routed through or stored on our servers.
Because requests are executed directly from your browser rather than an intermediary server, they are subject to standard browser Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) security policies. The target API endpoint must respond with an 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header allowing browser requests.
The tester supports GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, and HEAD methods with customizable request headers and request body payloads.
Yes. The response panel includes a dedicated 'Headers' tab that enumerates all returned HTTP response headers (such as Content-Type, Cache-Control, and rate-limiting headers) in an easily readable key-value table.
Yes. The tool features a 'Copy as cURL' button that instantly formats your selected method, endpoint URL, active headers, and body payload into a terminal-ready curl command.
Round-trip latency is precisely measured using the browser's high-resolution Performance API (performance.now()), capturing the exact elapsed time in milliseconds from request dispatch to response reception.
