Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about file privacy, processing modes, formats, and device support.

No. All URL parsing, query string deconstruction, parameter editing, and rebuilding execute 100% locally in your browser sandbox using the native JavaScript URL and URLSearchParams APIs. URLs are never logged, stored, or uploaded to any server.
The parser breaks down the URL into its core RFC 3986 components: Protocol/Scheme (e.g. https:), Hostname/Domain (e.g. example.com), Port number (if non-standard), Pathname, Hash/Fragment (anchor ID), and all individual Query String parameters.
Yes. The query string builder automatically applies proper URI component encoding (percent-encoding for spaces, symbols, and non-ASCII characters) when reconstructing the final URL, ensuring your links conform strictly to web standards.
Yes. If you omit the scheme, the parser intelligently assumes 'https://' by default so you can inspect paths and query strings seamlessly without typing the protocol prefix manually.
Absolutely. The interactive query parameter editor is ideal for inspecting complex OAuth callback parameters (client_id, redirect_uri, scope, state) and marketing campaign UTM tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) with easy value editing.
Simply click the 'Add Parameter' button above the parameters table, fill in the Key and Value fields, and the reconstructed URL will update automatically in real time.
