How to use this tool

The tool uses HTML5 Canvas to perform hardware-accelerated Rec. 709 luminance calculations and tonal curve mapping directly inside your browser memory. All processing runs locally with zero network requests to any backend server.
Natural Grayscale preserves balanced human perceptual luminance (0.2126 R + 0.7152 G + 0.0722 B). Noir applies a steep photographic S-curve for deep, punchy cinematic blacks and radiant specular highlights.
Silver Gelatin emulates traditional darkroom silver halide photographic paper, boosting mid-tone micro-contrast while maintaining smooth silvery highlight roll-off.
Zero reduction. The output file is rendered directly from your source image at 100% original full pixel resolution without downscaling.
Never. 100% of the conversion and rendering occurs entirely inside your browser tab. Your photos never leave your device.
