The merger uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly to combine your video files directly within your browser sandbox. It writes the clips to an in-memory virtual filesystem and executes concatenation using stream copy (preserving 100% original quality), automatically falling back to frame-synchronized re-encoding if clips have differing codecs or resolutions.
You can combine MP4, MKV (Matroska), MOV (QuickTime), and WebM video files. You can even join clips of different container types together into a unified output format.
When clips share identical codecs and frame sizes, Elixuvo executes an ultra-fast stream copy concatenation in seconds without re-encoding. If codecs, bitrates, or resolutions differ, our intelligent engine automatically transcodes and normalizes the streams into your selected target format.
Never. All video reading, stream concatenation, and rendering occur 100% locally on your computer inside your browser's WebAssembly sandbox. Your video data never touches the network.
You can merge 2 or more clips. Because processing takes place in your browser's memory, we recommend a combined file size under 500 MB for optimal performance and browser stability.
If your clips have matching codecs, stream copy is used, resulting in zero quality loss. When re-encoding is necessary due to format mismatches, visually lossless H.264/AAC presets ensure crisp clarity and optimal audio synchronization.
