  4. Inspect live preview cards showing how your favicon looks inside a simulated browser tab, Apple iOS home screen, and Android launcher.

The package includes the standard multi-resolution favicon.ico (containing 16×16 and 32×32 frames), favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180×180 for iOS Safari home screens), android-chrome-192x192.png and android-chrome-512x512.png for Progressive Web Apps (PWA), site.webmanifest, and browserconfig.xml.
A true .ico file is a container format that embeds multiple icon resolutions inside a single file. Modern browsers request /favicon.ico and automatically select the 16×16 frame for dense bookmarks bars or the 32×32 frame for high-DPI Retina screens. Our generator builds a compliant binary .ico file containing both 16×16 and 32×32 frames in-memory without third-party servers.
Modern browsers and operating systems (such as Chrome on Android, iOS Safari, and macOS Dock) often display app icons inside rounded squircles or circles. If your logo stretches to the absolute canvas boundary, critical corners can get clipped. Adding 10%–15% padding gives your graphic optimal breathing space.
Simply copy the HTML snippet generated in the workspace and paste it inside your HTML <head> tag. It includes standard <link rel='icon'>, <link rel='apple-touch-icon'>, and <link rel='manifest'> references to ensure cross-device support across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and iOS/Android.
No. 100% of the canvas scaling, binary .ico file encoding, and ZIP bundle compression occur locally in your browser memory. Your branding assets never leave your device.
