How to use this tool

  1. Upload any image (JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG) or paste directly from your clipboard with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

  2. Click the Eyedropper tool and sample the exact color you want to replace directly from your photo canvas.

  3. Select your Replacement Color using the color palette presets, native color picker, or hex code input.

  4. Choose a Replacement Mode: Luminance-Preserving Hue Shift (retains realistic shadows and highlights) or Solid Color Tint.

  5. Tune the Tolerance (Fuzziness) and Feathering sliders to dial in the selection radius with smooth edge falloff.

  6. Toggle the Inspect Selection Mask button to see an electric overlay of exactly which pixels are affected.

  7. Drag the interactive Before / After split comparison slider across the canvas to verify the color replacement.

  8. Download your full-resolution edited image as lossless PNG or high-quality JPEG.

The tool compares each pixel's color against your target color using perceptual redmean color distance metrics in local memory via HTML5 Canvas typed arrays (Uint8ClampedArray). Matching pixels are transitioned to the replacement color with smooth cubic hermite edge feathering. Your photos never leave your device.
Luminance-Preserving Hue Shift swaps the hue and saturation of target pixels while preserving their exact original brightness and tonal luminance. This maintains shadows, fabric folds, reflections, and highlight speculars, making the recoloring look 100% natural rather than like a flat paint bucket fill.
When you activate the Eyedropper tool, clicking anywhere on the preview canvas instantly extracts the exact RGB hex color of that clicked pixel, setting it as your target replacement color.
Tolerance (fuzziness) defines how closely a pixel must match your target color to be recolored. Feathering applies a smooth boundary transition between selected and unselected regions, preventing pixelated, jagged, or harsh artifact borders.
The selection mask highlights all pixels within your tolerance range with a vibrant electric overlay. This makes it effortless to fine-tune your tolerance and feathering sliders without guessing which pixels are being recolored.
Never. Downloading processes your image at 100% of its native source dimensions (img.naturalWidth × img.naturalHeight) directly from original uncompressed pixel buffers.
